Dancer of the Month

Our Dancer of the Month for January is in her fourth year of ballet and has added modern and jazz to her list of disciplines this year.  Bronwyn Richterfriend is improving so many skills in all the styles.  In ballet, she is balancing the technique of working a strong center while applying graceful lines with her arms.  Also, her feet are becoming stronger with every class because she is articulating through them in tendues, jumps, and pique turns.  Bronwyn has been breaking down the process of pirouettes, and she is quite confident in spotting, balancing, and turning all at once.  In modern her floorwork transitions appear effortless—from rolls to falls.  She works completely through bounces and glides successfully in polkas as well.  Bronwyn started her jazz studies this year and is picking up this technique like a pro. She carries her pique turn and pirouette skills into jazz.  Miss Richterfriend is attentive, and helpful to her fellow classmates.  Her ability to pick up choreography is one of her finest assets!  She is a complete pleasure in all her classes.
